The Garmin Mobile XT offers free firmware upgrades for those using the Garmin GPS 10 BT Receiver (http://www.garmin.com/products/gps10/). This software should only be downloaded to the unit for which it is intended & that if this software is downloaded to a GPS unit other than the Garmin GPS 10 BT Receiver, it may render the unit inoperative.
This beta Garmin Mobile XT application offers:
- Both 2D and 3D map viewing options.
- Finger touchable interaction rather than having to use a stylus.
- Ability to add custom POIs such as school zones and safety camera locations using POI Loader.
- Support for Que API for 3rd party software customization.

bought myself a garmin gps10x. i pair with with my pocketpc, nokia n93 and microsoft smartphone and all work nicely. whats interesting, you do not need to pair it when using with mobile xt.
all u need, install garmin mobile xt software, garmin map, activate bluetooth and it will autodetect. no gpsproxy to worry. |

wah lau wei...quiet, quiet u go get yourself a GPS 10X. Accuracy should a fantastic la. Somemore no need Proxy. Cold start must b fast.
Now you'll definitely not leave home without it. |

| i know that Garmin Mobile XT got selling at Low Yat 3rd floor R'reef sdn bhd and section 14 digital mall Garmin shop also. |

Well, there's good news now, THose who have PPC or Symbian devices with built in GPS can use Garmin Mobile XT(GMXT) from now on.
All you require is to buy the license from Garmin and you are good to go. Using it on my U1000 for over a month now and NEVER BEEN Happier. Kicks the crap out of Mapking anytime. |
